Non-Invasive Technology

Traditional methods for diagnosing or treating important neurological disorders have important shortcomings. Comprehensive and time-consuming evaluation by experts, often in a clinic, using questionnaires and/or measurements with expensive and specialized equipment is often needed. To address this problem, we are working on an entirely new generation of neurotechnologies that can more easily, more affordably and more conveniently record information about the person (in the clinic or the person’s home), provide these data and resulting recommendations to the user or his/her clinician and that may even be able to treat the underlying condition using novel approaches. Finally, we are also interested in developing new non-invasive imaging technologies that can support these goals.
