Dr. Yu obtained her M.D. and her Ph.D. from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. She is currently an associate professor with the department of neurology and executive director of Sleep and Wake Disorders Center, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. She is a council member of the Chinese Sleep Research Society, a standing committee of Sleep Disorders Subcommittee and Deputy Director of Sleep Medical Education Subcommittee.
Her clinical and research interests include in REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) and other parasomnias, neurodegenerative diseases associated sleep disorder, adult Insomnia, narcolepsy and Klein-levin syndrome, restless legs syndrome, sleep apnea, as well as clinical application of sleep related wearable technology and new devices. She has received several national research grants for her sleep research and authored or co-authored more than 30 high-impact peer-reviewed publications.
